Green Hill Farm

The owner of a secluded parcel of land in southern Vermont came to us with the goal of creating a net-zero, healthy home with a strong connection to the beautiful site and views.

Dartmouth’s Organic Farm, is a 200-acre parcel of property purchased by Dartmouth College in 1975 from the Fullington family. The property includes two farmhouses, two barns, a milk house and two greenhouses on 20 acres of open land nestled between the Connecticut River and Route 10. Maclay Architects have been hired to further understand the property to identify opportunities and challenges for developing a program and facilities at the Farm in support of Dartmouth’s goal to become a sustainability leader in environmental studies.

Vermont Creamery, an artisan cheese producer, in partnership with the Castanea Foundation are collaborating to create a model commercial goat dairy farm located in a bucolic valley in Randolph, Vermont.

This new building in Wilmington will house offices and a bus maintenance facility for the Deerfield Valley Transit Assocation.
