The Moosilauke experience is a quintessential element of all students at Dartmouth College and many alumni continue to visit Moosilauke throughout their lives. This bunkhouse has been made possible by the volunteer efforts and donations from the Class of ’74.

Volunteers from the class of '74 participated in a timberframe workshop and some have even helped with the finish work on the bunkhouse. This timberframe workshop and design was led by David Hooke of TimberHomes LLC, with structural engineering by Chris Carbone, both Dartmouth Alumni.

The rustic timberframe cabin design provides bunks for 24 guests and a common area with a woodstove for gathering and games. This cabin is part of an overall masterplan for improvements at Moosilauke to preserve and enhance the tradition for future generations.
