Saint Lawrence University received a donation to build a research station for wetlands and river study. The Wachmeister-Isei Field Station has been designed as a model environmental building using sustainable technologies and teaching others how to build better buildings for people and the environment.  The building incorporates minimal energy consumption and maximum use of natural daylight and solar energy, while serving diverse technological requirements.  We worked in a collaborative process with an interdisciplinary team of faculty, students and staff to design a facility to meet programming requirements as well as tolerating high internal moisture levels due to wetlands research.
