This 18 unit housing project provides much-needed affordable homes for residents of the Mad River Valley. In collaboration with Housing Vermont and the Central Vermont Community Land Trust, we have designed and detailed these units with long-term energy costs in mind. This project balances the need to keep costs low while providing healthy and comfortable living environments for its residents. The units are a mix of townhouses and flats, each with its own private entry. Entry and rear porches provide a connection to the site. The buildings surround a central courtyard community space with ties to the mountains. The project was completed in the spring of 2009.
