The Crow’s Nest is nestled in a pine grove on a small knoll overlooking Nantucket Sound on the Cape.  The house was designed as a prototype post-and-beam home with insulated panels.  In 1600 square feet, there are four bedrooms, including a third floor room with views in all directions.

The heavy insulation, passive solar design, and tightness of the building allow maximal comfort at minimal cost.  The total building cost, including breezeway and storage structures, was less than $120,000.
